Share-a-Bear Program

Calvert Hospice needs new huggable, non-holiday themed bears that stand 12-18” high. Teddy Bears offer comfort to children and adults that are in emotional or physical pain. These soft, cuddly stuffed bears will bring companionship to those living their last days at home, are alone in nursing homes or who have recently lost a loved one.

Please tell everyone to Share A Bear with Calvert Hospice. Please talk to your school, church, scout troops and those who are involved in community service projects or consider donating a bear to share and bring comfort to children and adults that are in emotional or physical pain. Collection will be at the Calvert Hospice Office at 238 Merrimac Court, Prince Frederick, MD 20678 or you can arrange to have multiple bears picked up by calling Ann Lavezzo at 410-535-0892 or 301-855-1226.

Our teddy bears will reach many people of all ages and help them get through difficult and lonely situations.
