This fun and exciting day offered 12 straight hours of cropping! It was held from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the St. John Vienney Catholic Family Life Center in Prince Frederick. The event also included an on-site silent auction.

Northern High School Future Business Leaders of America Hold Annual Dinner and Silent Auction In February 2009 The Northern High School FBLA held “Healing Hearts,” a silent auction and dinner, which raised over $12,000 for the Legacy Program at Calvert Hospice. The Legacy program will help those at the end of their lives capture and leave memories behind for their loved ones by creating scrapbooks, albums, memoirs, recipe books, and other mementos.
Asbury-Solomons hosted their annual Mardi Gras dance Saturday, February 21, 2009 to benefit The Burnett-Calvert Hospice House. The event featured the Southern Maryland Swing Band and an array of 'Nawleens’ inspired food. Asbury-Solomons residents and friends danced the night away, laughed and showed their support for hospice as they raised over $3,000.
