Safeway Makes Giving as Easy as Shopping!

The Safeway Club Card for Education and Non-profits Program with eScrip is an easy way for Calvert Hospice to raise funds through purchases made at Safeway. Your participation can easily mean $100’s of dollars for Hospice care in Calvert County.

How does it work?
Sign-up with eScrip at escrip.com and register your Safeway Club Card. Once enrolled, every time you shop at Safeway, with your Club Card, up to 3% of your purchases will be credited to Calvert Hospice. Register Today!

How can you register?
Sign up by calling Janel Muir at Calvert Hospice, 410-535-0892. Be prepared to provide your name, address, phone number and email along with your Safeway Bonus Card number. Or email that information to jmuir@calverthospice.org. 

To complete the registration yourself:
Go to www.escrip.com. Click on step 1 "Sign up - it's free." Type in "Calvert Hospice" for your group name and click search. Click on "Calvert Hospice." You may then choose additional groups or click next and continue.

Fill out your information for step 2. Please give an email address if you have one. This will make it easy for Calvert Hospice to let you know when it is time to renew your card with eScrip.

When you get to step 3, select Safeway as "Card Type" and then put your Safeway Bonus Card number in the box. Step 4 is a separate program* that you can choose to participate in or just click next. Step 5 is another program**. If you do not want to participate, just click next. Confirm that everything is correct and you are signed up!

*If you register your current debt or credit cards with eScrip, participating merchants will contribute a percentage of the purchases you make with those cards to Calvert Hospice.

**If you have a retail or gift card with Linens N Things, OfficeMax or Macy's (west coast only at this time), you can register your card and again Calvert Hospice will receive a percentage of the purchases you make.

Don't forget to renew!
If you participated last year, don’t forget to renew your commitment to the Safeway Club Card for Education Program, to continue receiving Safeway contributions. To renew go to escrip.com.
