25th Anniv & BCHH Dedication PHOTOS_06_09Saturday June 20th, 2009 Jay Webster, President of the Calvert Hospice Board of Directors, along with several Calvert Hospice Volunteers and employees started the day with torrents of rain and lots of mud. It didn't take long for Jay and Executive Director Lynn Bonde to decide the event needed to be moved inside the Burnett-Calvert Hospice House. The silver lining for this rainy day was that all attending had the surprise pleasure of seeing a sneak peek at the Hospice House and staying DRY! The Chesapeake Community Chorus lent a glorious addition to the day's events. The sound was simply amazing.
Reverend Willie Davis gave the blessing and Lynn Bonde, Executive Director spoke followed by Senator Roy Dyson, Jay Webster and Calvert Hospice founder Marie Andrews.
