Calvert Hospice Butterfly Spreads Its Wings

The butterfly image that has identified Calvert Hospice in print and on-line for almost two decades has undergone a metamorphosis. Media Manager Janel Muir has designed a new butterfly to carry Calvert Hospice into the future.

The new image incorporates some important features of the old logo, while embracing the future with a more open design, a clean new typeface, and, most dramatically, a new color -- a soft green.

Green represents life, nature, and transformation. It symbolizes the purpose of hospice care -- to support life.
